No more Dublin Dr Pepper!

We're sad to say that we sold the last of our Dublin Dr Pepper Thursday morning ... the plant in Dublin has closed.

We DO still have Dr Pepper beef jerky, which is marinated in Dublin Dr Pepper! Supplies are limited, however.

If you're in Abilene, drop by Texas Star to check out our summer bargains! We have a sale table loaded with greatly-reduced merchandise.....wooden signs, monogrammed coasters, T-shirts, posters ... lots of odds and ends! We're open 10-5:30 Monday-Saturday.

Wine & food tasting!

Please join us from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 for a wine and food tasting. We'll be serving tiny samples of our new Texas Star Wines -- Prickly Pear and Hibiscus Flower. Both are served chilled -- perfect for these 100-plus degree days!
We'll also be sampling Texas Ranger Gourmet Cilantro & Lime Salsa. Plus, my mom -- Ellen Webb -- will be serving samples of her famous Olive Cheese Balls, which are featured in her cookbook, "You'll Be Going Back for Seconds."
